Hi, my name is Simon.
I’ve called Swansea home for seven years. My path runs from a BSc in Geography and Environmental Science at Monash University (Australia) to a first-class MSc in Business Analytics at Swansea University, and an MSc in Strategic Marketing at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Together, they allow me to bring data-driven thinking to marketing strategy.
I’m a keen sports fan, particularly of football and cricket, and I have significant experience working with sports clubs and SMEs across Swansea. Again and again, I’ve seen businesses and clubs rely on word of mouth and social media with no visible strategy, or on an outdated website, without recognising how much the internet can do for their brand. Limited budgets and resources are usually the barrier, and the result is lost customers and members.
